Tinubu-1-1-2

In a monumental victory for good governance and fiscal responsibility, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has greenlit the adoption of the Oronsaye Report, a move that echoes our relentless advocacy efforts as an NGO committed to driving positive change. This landmark decision, spearheaded by President Bola Tinubu, stands as a testament to the power of collective action and the pivotal role played by civil society organizations in shaping public policy.

At the heart of this transformative development lies our groundbreaking project, Crig.NG (Cost Reduction in Governance), which has long championed the cause of efficiency and accountability in government operations. Through meticulous research, strategic advocacy, and unwavering dedication, we have relentlessly campaigned for the streamlining of bureaucratic structures and the optimization of taxpayer resources.

With the adoption of the Oronsaye Report, our vision for a leaner, more effective governance framework is now a reality. A total of 263 MDAs have been consolidated into 161, signaling a seismic shift towards a more agile and responsive government apparatus. This historic decision not only reflects our unwavering commitment to driving change but also underscores the government's responsiveness to the voices of its citizens.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, aptly captured the essence of this momentous occasion, highlighting President Tinubu's bold leadership and the administration's determination to reduce the cost of governance while enhancing service delivery. Importantly, the adoption of the report reaffirms our belief that through constructive engagement and evidence-based advocacy, meaningful progress can be achieved.

As we celebrate this landmark achievement, we extend our gratitude to all stakeholders, partners, and supporters who have stood with us on this journey. Together, we have demonstrated the power of collaboration in shaping a brighter future for our nation.

This historic milestone marks not the end, but rather the beginning of a new chapter in our quest for transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance. As we continue to advocate for meaningful reforms and champion the interests of the Nigerian people, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to building a better tomorrow for all.

Stay tuned for further updates as we chart the course towards a more prosperous and equitable Nigeria.
