We are thrilled to share highlights from our recent advocacy visit to the Gwagwalada Area Council. On March 14th, 2024, our team had the privilege of meeting with the Executive Chairman, Abubakar Jibrin Giri, and other key stakeholders to discuss the implementation of the LOGINaija project and its impact on the local community.
During our visit, we had a productive discussion with the Executive Chairman, Abubakar Jibrin Giri, and his team about the importance of citizen engagement and participatory governance. We highlighted the objectives of the LOGINaija project and explored opportunities for collaboration to enhance transparency and accountability in the Area Council.
Community-Centered Approach:
We emphasized the need for a community-centered approach to governance, where the voices of ordinary citizens are heard and valued. By empowering local communities to participate in decision-making processes, we can ensure that government policies and programs reflect the needs and priorities of the people they serve.
Strengthening Partnerships:
Our advocacy visit was an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with local authorities and community leaders in Gwagwalada. We discussed strategies for effectively implementing the LOGINaija project and maximizing its impact on the ground.
Join the Movement:
We believe that real change happens when communities come together to advocate for their rights and hold their leaders accountable. If you are passionate about promoting transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in local governance, we invite you to join us in our efforts to create positive change in Gwagwalada and beyond.
