AIG Aishatu Abubakar, Force Gender Adviser, Endorses GET-SAFE GBV Project

The Speak Out Africa Initiative (SOAI) team paid an advocacy visit to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) where AIG Aishatu Abubakar, the Force Gender Adviser, threw her full support behind the ongoing #GETSAFE GBV Project.

The meeting focused on strengthening the partnership between the NPF and SOAI in advancing community-level gender-based violence prevention and response mechanisms, as well as promoting safety, justice, and dignity for women and girls across Nigeria.

AIG Abubakar commended the GET-SAFE project’s vision and assured the SOAI team of the Force’s readiness to collaborate in fostering safer campuses and local communities free from GBV.
