On March 14th, 2024, our team had the privilege of meeting with the Executive Chairman, Abubakar Jibrin Giri, and other key stakeholders to discuss the implementation of the LOGINaija project and its impact on the local community.<\/p>\n\n    <\/font><\/section><font color=\"#000000\">\n<br>\n    <section>\n        <strong>Engagement with Local Leadership:<\/strong><\/section><\/font><\/span>\n<span style=\"background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><font color=\"#000000\"><section><strong><\/strong>\n        <p>During our visit, we had a productive discussion with the Executive Chairman, Abubakar Jibrin Giri, and his team about the importance of citizen engagement and participatory governance. We highlighted the objectives of the LOGINaija project and explored opportunities for collaboration to enhance transparency and accountability in the Area Council.<\/p>\n    <\/section>\n<br>\n\n    <section><p><strong><br><\/strong><strong>Community-Centered Approach:<\/strong> <\/p><\/section><\/font><\/span>\n<span style=\"background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><font color=\"#000000\"><section><p>We emphasized the need for a community-centered approach to governance, where the voices of ordinary citizens are heard and valued. By empowering local communities to participate in decision-making processes, we can ensure that government policies and programs reflect the needs and priorities of the people they serve.\n<br><\/p><br><\/section><\/font><\/span>\n<span style=\"background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><font color=\"#000000\"><section><p><strong><\/strong><strong>\nStrengthening Partnerships:<\/strong><\/p><\/section><\/font><\/span>\n<span style=\"background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><font color=\"#000000\"><section><p><strong><\/strong>Our advocacy visit was an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with local authorities and community leaders in Gwagwalada.
