Position\nOverview:<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>

We are\nseeking a highly motivated and dedicated Person as Program Associate to join\nour team for the “Skool n Skill 4 Naija” project, aimed at\nintegrating digital skills education and drug abuse prevention into the Nigeria\nSecondary Education Curriculum. The Program Associate will play a crucial role\nin coordinating and implementing various activities across different work\npackages of the project.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

Roles and\nResponsibilities:<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Assist in the coordination and\nimplementation of preparatory activities, including rapid assessment studies\nand training of trainers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Support the organization of focus\ngroup discussions with teachers, CSOs, and activists to gather insights for\nprogram development.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Collaborate with technical units to\ndevelop didactical tools and proposals for drug abuse prevention and digital\nskills education.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Facilitate advocacy meetings and\npolicy dialogues with key educational stakeholders to institutionalize program\ncomponents.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Coordinate state-level round-table\ndiscussions and policy dialogues for curriculum development and implementation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Oversee the selection and training\nof pilot groups of digital catalysts and educators for program implementation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Contribute to the development of\nmultimedia components and digital tools for educational purposes.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Participate in capacity-building\nsessions and workshops for teachers, educators, and CSOs on drug abuse\nprevention and digital skills education.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Support the establishment and\nfunctioning of digital skills education corners in secondary schools.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Assist in the organization of\nyouth-led activities, such as role-play sessions, unity walks, and digital\nexpos, to promote awareness and prevention of drug abuse.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00b7        \n<\/span><\/span>Collaborate with stakeholders to\ncreate a nationwide network for inclusive education and youth empowerment, and\nany other functions that may be assigned.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>

Minimum\nQualifications:<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>

o  \n<\/span><\/span>Bachelor’s degree in any\ndiscipline.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

o  \n<\/span><\/span>At least 2 years of experience in\nsimilar projects\/ non-governmental organizations (NGOs).<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

o  \n<\/span><\/span>Strong understanding of education\nsystems, youth development, and social issues, particularly related to digital\nskills & drug abuse prevention.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

o  \n<\/span><\/span>Excellent communication and\ninterpersonal skills.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

o  \n<\/span><\/span>Proven ability to work effectively\nin multicultural settings and with diverse stakeholders.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

o  \n<\/span><\/span>Proficiency in Microsoft Office\nsuite and digital tools for program management and communication.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

o  \n<\/span><\/span>Ability to work independently,\nprioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

o  \n<\/span><\/span>Commitment to promoting\ntransparency, accountability, and good governance.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

Preferred\nQualifications:<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>

\u00a7 \n<\/span><\/span>Experience in curriculum\ndevelopment or educational program management.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00a7 \n<\/span><\/span>Knowledge of Nigerian secondary\neducation curriculum and policies.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00a7 \n<\/span><\/span>Familiarity with digital skills\ntraining and technology-based educational tools.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\u00a7 \n<\/span><\/span>Experience in organizing advocacy\ncampaigns and public awareness events.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>
