It strengthens the\ndemocratic participation of\nyouth and Nigerian civil society\nin promoting just, peaceful &#038;\ninclusive societies (SDG 16) as\naffirmed by the UN Security\nCouncil Resolution 2250.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"soa-small\">It was conceived to\naddress the need to\nplace young people at\nthe very heart of\ndevelopment policies\nand programmes to\nbuild inclusive and\nresilient societies in\nNigeria.<\/p>\n\n      <p class=\"soa-small\">The project addresses the systemic barriers\nthat prevent young people from being fully\nengaged in the decision making processes\nthat shape their futures.
