16 Days of Activism: IDP Camp Visit at Durumi, Area 1 Abuja
As part of the 16 Days of Activism, the Speak Out Africa Initiative visited the Durumi IDP Camp in Area 1, Abuja. Our outreach program aimed to provide support, advocate for the rights of internally displaced persons, and foster conversations about gender-based violence within vulnerable communities.
Key activities included:
- Interactive sessions with women and children to understand their challenges.
- Distribution of essential supplies to ease daily living conditions.
- Raising awareness about GBV and advocating for protection and empowerment.
Through this visit, we reinforced our dedication to ensuring no one is left behind in the fight against violence and inequality.
