LOGINaija (Local Open Governance Initiative)
LOGINaija is SOAI’s civic-tech pilot to strengthen open governance at local government level. The pilot phase covered three LGAs across the geopolitical zones and delivered functional council websites, FOIA desks and capacity-building for council staff and elected officials.
- Pilot LGAs: Gwagwalada Area Council (FCT); Umuahia North LGA (Abia); Ibadan South-West (Oyo).
- Core outputs: official local government websites, FOIA desk officers trained, MoU with participating councils, capacity workshops for executive and legislative arms.
- Next step: scale-up to additional LGAs and partnerships with national agencies.

EscapeeAlert.NG (Civic Security Concept)
A civic-tech concept for crowdsourced reporting and public safety alerts during prison escape incidents and security emergencies.

Swing Into Action
The project was implemented in Kaduna and Uyo to strengthen the role of young people as changemakers in fragile settings through legislative modelling and civic participation initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
It promotes youth participation in governance and supports the implementation of SDG 16 and UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security.
The project addresses barriers that prevent young people from actively participating in decision-making processes that shape their future and their communities.
